PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police have provided more information in regards to the arrest of Davion Clark on Tuesday.
Peoria Police and members of the U.S Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force located a reported stolen vehicle, associated with a wanted suspect, just after 11:45 A.M. in the area of Flora and Columbia Terrace.
Officers followed the vehicle and observed it driving recklessly throughout the city. The driver exited the vehicle after stopping at a business in the area of West Main and Bourland.
Police reportedly made contact with Clark and Kaamil H. O’Berry, 20, when they approached the vehicle. Clark reportedly attempted to flee the vehicle, but was quickly detained. Police then took Quinton L. Clemons, 21, into custody.
A loaded handgun was allegedly found on Clark after a search of him.
Clark was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon, Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, Resisting Police, Possession of an Altered ID, and two Active Warrants.
Clemons was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, Possession of Cannabis, Reckless Driving, and several Traffic Offenses, while O’Berry was released.

PEORIA, Ill. – A teenager accused in a homicide in Ohio was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Peoria.
The United States Marshals Service says Michael Johnson Jr., 14, was wanted in Dayton for two counts of Murder and two counts of Felonious Assault.
The fatal shooting incident occurred on March 14th.
U.S. Marshals say multiple other individuals were taken into custody, including Davion Clark, 29, who was wanted on a federal supervised release violation.
Clark was booked in the Peoria County Jail and Johnson to the Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center.
Both are awaiting extradition to Ohio for court appearances.
