PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man was hospitalized after being shot Wednesday night.
Police Spokesperson Semone Roth says officers were called around 11:15 p.m. to W. Thrush on multiple ShotSpotter alerts indicating 38 rounds had been fired.
PPD was told a man was taken to a hospital by private vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. He had been shot inside a home, suffering serious injuries.
Multiple shell casings were found outside the home by police.
Peoria Police have no suspects. The shooting is under investigation.
